Ron is a creative healthcare executive and family building innovator with over 30 years of experience in healthcare operations, sales and network development. In 2010, he collaborated with the clinical and scientific team from Atlanta based infertility leader RBA to co-found My Egg Bank (MEB). In doing so, Ron created and launched the business model that is now the industry standard for egg banking.

Over the years, he has also played an integral role in the establishment and expansion of some of the most prestigious entities in the fertility industry, including Reproductive Biology Associates, Prelude Fertility and ConceiveAbilities. Ron is a strong advocate of maximizing patient access to quality infertility care and enriching the work environment of the team members responsible for providing that care.

Boris Vaisman

Boris has nearly a decade of M&A and turnaround experience. In 2012, Boris joined the Corporate Development team at Sensata Technologies, a portfolio company of Bain Capital. He led the turnaround and integration of Wells-CTI, a break-even $22m microchip testing-equipment OEM. He architected and developed a custom planning platform to streamline production. The business exceeded 30% EBITDA margin within 10 months.

He later led the transformation of Dimensions, a $20m struggling power conversion business, which had been losing revenue over 5 years, into the largest industrial power conversion enterprise in the Americas. The business reached $47m in revenue and 27% EBITDA margin in 2014. It also secured customer commitments for new products, in total expanding the business to exceed $60m revenue and 30% EBITDA margin by 2016.

In 2017, as an independent sponsor, Boris raised $17m capital from Tuckerman Capital, 2SV Capital, and Regions Bank to acquire Rotating Solutions, a $10m solids control and waste management equipment manufacturer. Over the next two years, he built a fleet of six mobile rental centrifuges, grew revenue 29%, developed a new centrifuge design, and improved remanufacturing processes to extend machine life by over 30%.

She has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding renowned fertility institutions, including the Center for Reproductive Medicine in Florida.

Before joining Fertility Specialist Network (FSN), Ana earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degrees from the University of Florida. She has held significant roles at esteemed institutions, including Orlando Health, Baptist Health of South Florida, Lab Corp, and UnitedHealthcare.

Ana is a passionate advocate for improving patient access to high-quality fertility care and creating a nurturing work environment for the dedicated team members responsible for delivering this care. With her personal experience as a fertility patient, she possesses a profound understanding of our patients' unique journeys.

Dr. Sheela Ali

Dr. Sheela S. Ali, PhD, HCLD, CC, TS, is a distinguished expert in the field of human IVF, with a career spanning over a decade. She earned her master's degree in Clinical Embryology and Andrology from the Jones Institute of Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2013, followed by a PhD in Developmental Biology from the University of North Texas in 2018. During her graduate studies, Dr. Ali's research focused on E-Cadherin and its significance in trophectoderm grafts from sibling embryos, alongside pioneering the application of Artificial Intelligence and predictive modeling in IVF treatments. Her groundbreaking work in utilizing AI to identify critical thresholds in IVF treatments promises to revolutionize the field by providing efficient real-time support tools for clinical decision-making.

Certified as a High Complexity Laboratory Director, Clinical Consultant, and Technical Supervisor by the American Board of Bio analysts, Dr. Ali's expertise extends beyond the laboratory. She has contributed her insights as a panelist for NASA's space biology research program and as an expert reviewer for proposals related to the procurement of PCR testing platforms for SARS-CoV-2 submitted to the United Nations.

Dr. Ali's impactful contributions to IVF include her role as Vice President of Science and Innovation, where she has spearheaded research, publications, and scientific presentations on preimplantation genetics. Her dedication to the field is further demonstrated by her service as a scientific advisory board member for the College of Reproductive Biology and EmbryVu genetics laboratory. Currently, she serves as a committee member for the ASRM membership committee, SART QA committee, and CRB committee. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Ali enjoys exploring different cultures through travel, enriching her perspectives and contributing to her well-rounded approach to reproductive healthcare advancement.

Prior to LongueVue Capital, Ryan was a Principal in the Healthcare Private Equity Group at American Capital, a global investment management company.

Ryan has deep investment experience in life sciences, pharma services, provider space, medical devices, and healthcare IT. He served in a Board Director capacity for 12 companies, and worked in J.P. Morgan’s Consumer, Healthcare, and Retail investment banking group.

Ryan graduated with a BBA in finance from SMU and earned an MBA from The Wharton School.

Austin carries experience in life science, medical devices, logistics, aerospace and defense, and consumer/retail. He served as a Summer Associate at LongueVue Capital prior to his time at Moelis & Company, and he graduated with honors from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Prior to Ridgemont, Erin spent two years as an investment banking analyst at Deloitte Corporate Finance where she worked on sell-side transactions across a wide range of industries. She graduated with a B.S. from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.

Rankin Hobbs

Prior to joining as an Associate at LongueVue Capital, Rankin served as an intern at KPMG in the mergers and acquisition tax practice where he assisted in both sell-side and buy-side transactions focusing on transaction structuring, partnership tax, and bankruptcy & restructuring.

Rankin passed all four parts of the CPA exam and is actively pursuing full CPA licensure in the state of Louisiana. He graduated Cum Laude with a Master of Accounting and BSM in Finance and Legal Studies from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.

After Sensata, in 2015, Boris joined Clover Health, a portfolio company of Sequoia Capital, building out their financial operations capabilities.

In 2017, Boris became an independent sponsor and started V Capital. He raised $17m in capital from Tuckerman Capital and Regions Bank to acquire Rotating Solutions, a $10m solids control and waste management equipment manufacturer. Over the next two years, he built a fleet of six mobile rental centrifuges, grew revenue 29%, developed a new centrifuge design, and improved remanufacturing processes to extend machine life by over 30%.

In 2019, Boris joined ConceiveAbilities, a surrogacy and egg donation agency, as its COO. Over the next two years, he transformed the owner-managed business into a process-based organization. He created the operations team and promoted its first Director of Operations. He introduced a financial planning process and rebuilt the surrogate acceptance platform to improve the customer experience and increase data capture at every step of the funnel. He also collaborated with the VP of Sales to quantify and optimize the intended parent lead conversion process and to launch the high-demand fixed-price products, doubling volume.

Ryan Nagim

Ryan joined LongueVue Capital in 2015 and leads the firm’s Healthcare Investment Strategy, the firm’s largest investment vertical.
